Galaxy S3 Watering Hole

Morning all.

Nexus update: At over 3 days and have not charged it yet. But, the caveat is, no sim card in it and I have not updated any of the apps. Still debating if I want to unlock the bootloader and root.

I thought about putting a t-mo sim in it. Anyone know if best buy carries pre paid t-mo sim cards? Do I need to sign up or something?

On second thought, it may be cheaper and easier to just add the device to my family plan on AT&T.
Yeah bro,

Best Buy has a T-Mobile SIM Starter kit. No contract.

You can do it on your own or a Best Buy Mobile rep can do it for you. Minimal setup and info to provide, whether BBM does it for you or if you do it on your own. Just ask for a T-Mobile SIM Starter Kit.

EDIT: They will need to cut the SIM card down to micro size for you. They will have a SIM cutter tool.

Ugh. Just noticed the power button on my note 2 is nearly flush with the body. It seems to be getting worse.

I am trying to hold out for the next batch it new devices but not sure the phone is going to last.

Really? We have the plan in our wireless guide as a choice of plans at Best Buy. I'll ask tomorrow. Off today.
Interesting if you can. The word around the forums for a while has been that it's online only, though at one point you could get it at Wal-Mart. I know Best Buy has the 30 dollar refill cards because that's where I buy them to accumulate reward points. :D

Unlocked, TWRPed, and rooted on the N4 :)

Battery lasted a decent amount of time, but once again, no sim card, no updates, just sitting on wifi. I was made aware that a play store component was missing. I did not install it yet. Battery needs some charging time. So, I guess next step is to charge and update the apps that need updated and install that missing component for the play store. If I do and the battery drain goes nuts, then, I nailed the problem I had on the N7. Lets hope that don't happen. If so, it will pretty much ruin me on this platform :(

I am actually a little excited about those new razrs. Kind of wish they were going to AT&T for something a little different.

AT&T = Samsung
Verizon = Motorola
Sprint = What ever
T-mo = What ever

Why, howdy there stranger :p :D

--------

I have an iOS device and a couple Android devices and a camera that is capable of shooting HD video and a youtube channel. Anyone be interested in me attempting a user comparison of these? By user I mean someone who actually uses both, why one works for me over the other or what not?

So I need to spend 80 bucks up front just to try T-Mobile service? 15 for a sim card and 50 for refill then tax? Forget that noise. The sim is huge and will need trimmed. Still looking into things.

Order a micro sim online for 99 cents, and then buy a 30 dollar refill card and activate the sim on the 30 dollar plan prepaid plan.

The promo code for the sim card is SIMSALE
