Galaxy S3 Watering Hole

The BS at AT&T continues.

I returned my note III to them after it stopped connecting to the microcell tower because at this point it was basically a brick at home. I returned it with in 10 days because I did not know when or if a fix was coming and I did not want to be stuck with something I could not use.

At first AT&T tried to send me off to have the device checked despite reports on the net (they refused to even look). I asked to speak to a manager, never got to talk to one, the lady who was helping me said they where going to replace the thing and wave the restocking fee (really on a defective product?)

She walked away to talk to the manager again, came back and at this point I said, why not just eat the restocking fee, just return the device and walk away.

I was told I would not be charged an ETF for this, just the restocking fee. Fine.

The refund went on the wrong card, I grabbed the wrong one, she did not even check, neither did the system. Strange since its policy that refunds are suppose to go on the card that was used.

What ever.

My CC company finally got the refund, its sitting there like credit now I suppose, but I got to pay the other card

Now, the bill came in and low and behold, a 350 dollar ETF is included.

What a mess.
All I wanted was a new device since my note II was acting up.

I hope we get this fixed. I went around and around with verizon a couple months ago because someone at best buy did not know what they where doing. Luckily verizon did step up to the plate and fixed things.

Sorry. Just had to vent.

Sorry to hear about all of the hassles, AJ.

On a lighter note, the Bengals destroyed the Jets 49-9 and Ohio State won big as well.:)

I think I may just go back to Verizon. If I want to hack, there are wifi nexus 7s out.

As far as my sister, she has the N4 and I got a t-mo sim card laying around, so she may go pre paid. As for my mom, she was thinking either a cheap go phone or perhaps a nexus 4 or 5 for now and taking her nexus 7 to t-mo or something. Still not sure.

AJ
If T-Mobile has good service where you live, that's the way to go. I'd get on the phone with AT&T customer service and firmly but politely escalate your way up the chain of command until you get satisfaction. May take a bit of patience, but I'm sure they will resolve your problems eventually.

As of right now, things have been fixed but I will believe that when the next bill comes in. I may do t mo for voice and use Verizon for data in the chase season.

Howdy Y''all...

Ok, read back .... objectifying a Note 3 with a cup of black (non Starbucks) coffee ... While watching the Jets get hurt in bikini's ?

Maybe I need a cup right about now :)

Good Morning all !
