I'm a professional klutz. If I tried to carry mine for more than a few minutes I can guarantee I'd loose my grip. OtterBox not, I have visions of it going flying, then dieing!

The book is over 1000 pages. I am going to look into things more. There is a school right up the street from where I work, so I may be able to take the test there when the time comes.

Not sure. Probably in a couple weeks. The book has several pre test to see where I need to work on. Probably math, which, I know, is ironic if you look at my title and realize I read books on quantum mechanics.

Not at all. I'm memorized by string theory myself (yeah, I'm a believer but not because I know, but it just sounds right to me. I subscribe to the view that if a supreme being did create the universe then it would require more effort to explain it away than what we're currently capable of doing with the LHC. Simplistic perhaps, but it makes me happy) and I got sod all in the way of grades at school.

aj, I only know you from your post on here at AF. I have a few relatives that have their GED. Um, you are probably already good to go. That being said, nothing wring with some good prep. I always liked getting A's or passing with flying colors. I have a weak ego, so any pumping of it (real or artificial) is good with me.
