Looks like two failed experiments today....

Found a new kernel for the One X that supports OTG with out a Y splitter. So, while I was at it, I decided to update TWRP, make a new backup, flash the kernel and give it a whirl with the Xoom OTG cable I got.

Well, I tried to install stickmount, it was not compatible with the HOX, so I tried another program, USB host controller. It did not find the flash drive, it did not even light up. This tells me either the program sucks or my Xoom OTG cable is wired different. I guess I could side load the APK of stick mount and try it again, or scrap the idea. or attempt to make a OTG cable, or try to order one from hong kong. Um... no.

Experiment #2

Linux? I loaded the program up, seen some cryptic stuff and decided I was too tired for this.

I removed both programs.

Still need to figure out how to get more space. Down to 3.5gb

I need a Bluetooth tv out for many S3. Can anyone help with that...?

Beware, phone talk!

Bluetooth isn't designed to handle that much data iirc. It's only a PAN (personal area network) with a range of a meter or two and a data rate of around 24Mbit/second which doesn't evan all go over the actual link. Compared to wifi which would be a more suitable option with 6x the data rate for most low end 'high speed routers' being 150 mbit/s going up to 900mbit/s by using mimo (multi in multi out) 450+450mbit/s. So wifi is the better choice and should handle the amount of data needed for audio/video ;)

Blah blah blah ..... please send me a link of exactly what to buy. Lol

Thank you App Master X . Your wisdom is always appreciated! So WiFi it is ;)

Btw, it can't utilize WiFi as it is used off his 4g data?
