Be glad you have one aj. For all my whining about the one I had it was better than being unemployed. I have put in 3 applications today though. If nothing else at least I can honestly say I'm trying when unemployment asks.

Hi guys,

I need some asistance if you can. I use facebook twitter and POF but only receive push notications when my wifi is activated.
I have gone into each application and set up the settings so I receive a noise, get a vibration, a light and a notification symbol in my status bar but still nothing....until my wifi is turned on.
I have gone to my message settings and have push messages from network activated however the only time i receive them is when I have wifi on at work or at home.
I used twitter and facebook when i only had mobile network on and no Wifi on and received no notifications. However when I opened each I have new tweets and facebook notifications??

Please can you assist.

I most certainly will assist you. Just gimme a sec.
EDIT: It should give you a notification weather you're on WIFI or not. Try clearing the cache or the data on the app and see if that fixes it.
 
Go to settings > Applications > and go to your facebook and twitter app and hit clear chache. Try clearing the data on it also, but clearing the data will make it where you lose your settings on it and will have to put your settings in again. I hope this helps as I have looked and you should be getting a notification regardless if you're on WIFI or data.
