Thanks, Kaat!
Printed the filter one yesterday at Target. The machine was all broken so it never got three older ones from our honeymoon I wanted to frame. Need to go back in today to pick em up and since I waited forever yesterday she's going to give me them for free. :)

At least you think of printing. Bravo! I snapshot everything but keep forgetting to print.

It's actually not TOO expensive. ~$2.50 for a 5x7 (no idea what that is in cm) and ~$4 for an 8x10. Won't be printing much, just those that I'd like to frame and hang up. Fortunately, our apartment is small enough there's not a whole lot of space for prints anyway. ;)

In other news, today is the first day for our neighborhood farmers market!! :D
Will be checking it out for sure.

Also, today making another walnut cherry bread but this time 100% whole wheat. Can be tricky to work with, but I think it'll turn out well. Built up some starter last night with only whole wheat. Looks quite happy this morning. :)

Hey Dread, you can create a patio garden. I'm impressed with some of the small space veggie gardens out there.

Pretty sure that requires a patio. ;)
But yeah, a few other tenants have some pots on their fire escapes. I have a bit of room I can work with and I know the afternoon sun is strong on that side of the building (my electric bills are in agreement).

You can Google "vertical gardens" .... at least get some herbs. No patio? I can't imagine.

If I can at least get a few pots of hardy herbs like rosemary or thyme, I'll be happy. :)
Not sure if I want to give tomatoes a go though. :o

So, is everyone excited for the shortest sports event in history today? Have to pick up some bourbon and mint. :D

Was thinking vertical gardening too. On the wall outside your windows.
Try chives, oregano and basil too. Parsil dries out fast.

Are you gonna bet?

Nope. :)
Not the gambling type. Never have, likely never will. But, I know some families (my in-laws and others) like to give out scratch tickets at holidays. They're a nice stocking stuffer. My mom got scratch tickets a lot when I was growing up. She'd pick up her smokes and a ticket. Won a couple times big. Once was well over $1000 which helped pay for all of us to visit my brother at Christmas when all the kids were living all over the country. :)

Wow!
Me neither. I am only in for the monthly big lottery. Had a few smaller wins. Waiting for the biggie :p

<---- New avi of the olive loaf I made yesterday. Wife brought some into work yesterday and her boss said it was the best loaf I've made yet. :)
It's my secretive way of trying to woo him into potentially investing in a bakery with me. :D
(my wife has said he may be interested....)

Sneaky practices
