Af family, question.... it's 100° here still but I took down my Halloween decor to decorate. My children seem to think it's way to early for pumpkins. As long as I don't put out actual Halloween stuff (witches etc,) I should be able to put out pumpkins right?
Thought I would ask a unbiased group. Your answer will be the final decision factor, so think hard... Love y'all
 
Well, given that Home Depot is about ready to start flogging Christmas 2012....

Personally I'd wait until the last weekend of September, then get a months worth in.

Lol....., thinking about some ham glazed, steamed green beans (fresh French), some red potatoes, a simple honey mustard green salad to compliment and since af thinks it's still summer, a crisp Riesling. I may need to hit the store, because I'm thinking a peach sorbet will finish it off for dessert. Sound good Chef Master X ?

Peach sorbet with a drizzle of peach schnapps + fresh raspberries and some raspberries mashed into a sauce ;) lush

Just Texted my hubby the menu... he said it sounds great, except he wants collard greens instead... I think he has no clue that just added a hour to my dinner and 500 calories!

Whatever makes you think I was involved in the menu? Lol

9.75 lb ham is in the oven. P Lin is at church with the lil boys. I am currently in a debate with my big boys on why android is not a copy cat. All I needed to say was... 4g LTE. Oh, yes... I've had that for over a year now. Kinda shut that one down. lol

I'm making a glaze of pineapple juice, Brown sugar and cayenne pepper. Should be sweet and spicy. I love mustard glasses but because I'm making money mustard with the salad, I wanted to change up the glaze a bit. Let you know how this one turns out. I was also thinking, I'm going to glaze, let it rest.... slice and glaze again. I think that will add the extra kick I am looking for. Should be ready before you go to bed. About 3 more hours I say.
