Used to make donuts at the last place I worked (with jams and choc sauce). Delicious. We closed on Sunday so all the dough leftover on Saturday night we fried off for the servers. They lined up like crazy to get whatever fried scraps were left.

Personally I'd just edit the policies after a few *ahem* tweeks and get the bloody thing to do as it's told.
The day the comp rules you, you might as well submit your soul to the devil.
Failing all the above, throw the f*&#@= out the window and tell work that you'll buy your own computer to use
