Half beer and half cider is a snakebite, yeah, add a shot of blackcurrant to make it a black adder (a little sweeter and nicer imo) but they are really more-ish like Jeger bombs, you can drink bottle after bottle without feeling too drunk, untill you stand up or get fresh air, then it hits you like a semi.

What's really stupid is the pub's won't pour it for you, but you can ask for a half beer, half cider & black and pour both into an empty beer glass and make your own, and the pub's know your going to do exactly that, and they can't/won't stop you, as long as they didn't actually 'pour' the whole thing into a pint glass and serve it, they can't be done.
 
Meh, I'm so sick of people repeating "plastic= cheap" like it's a fact, and I don't care how many people try to convince me that the One is beautiful, I think it is ugly from the front, with the weird speaker grills and only two buttons. Sure, speakers in the front is a good idea, but let's be realistic, they are still going to sound like crap. Anything that you care about the sound quality will still require headphones or external speakers. That reviewer bought an iPhone 5 because he thinks it was the best phone out there, that tells me all I need to know about him.

I agree with the plastic argument

I agree with the aesthetic argument - the one just looks ugly, especially compared to an S3/S4

However, the curved back does look good on the one.

Stereo speakers are a great idea, and apparently sound much better with Beats, however on the one they also look ugly, I'm sure there is a way to style stereo front speakers in a much more aesthetically pleasing way, shame HTC haven't found out how yet.

Let's not forget, different phones are aimed at slightly different markets, while the one is a flagship phone in it's own right, it's more (imho) the rebellious teenager of phones, while the S3/S4 are more the conservative businessman, leaving the Iphone 5 the stereotypical dippy blonde.

I think as far as hardware is concerned, there isn't much more you can cram into a phone, once you have the radios/gps/other sensors, it's really a question of improving existing hardware. Innovation is likely to be more on the efficiency and software side now, tech is a constant learning curve, let's see what roads fork off in the future and which turn out to be dead ends, and which to glorious goodness.
 
The elongated shape of the One reminds me of the iPhone 5. Personally, I love the feel of my Gnex, plastic be damned! :p
And after nearly a year and a half of using it caseless, it has no scratches anywhere. I'll take a bit lighter vs aluminum anyway. :)
(however, the glossy back isn't my favorite on the TW Samsung phones)

Also, southwest has still not found my luggage. Seriously frustrating that the only time I check a bag, it disappears!

Other than that, planning a Memorial day pool party and tending my garden.
 
Shame about your bag, but more importantly, have you found your sanity? :p

Pool party sounds good too, I'll bring drinks and steak :party:

And I like mine dead, although I must say I have not had beef in since probably last summer . Is your side of the pond thawing out?
