Got Moms note 8 in today, got it set up, updated software (and firmware) and she is giving it the Angry birds test. Looks like a huge improvement from her Galaxy tab 1.

Only complaint ( in regards to the Note 8.0 ) I had was when going to my Bookmarks they would flash / disappear for a few seconds. Can get a little annoying, just thought I would let you know in case your mom brings it up. Hope she enjoys it.:thumbup:
