Beards!

Thanks to your advice. Was able to turn on my Samsung Galaxy Note again!
I was surfing the net when it suddenly lagged and turned off automatically. I wasn't able to turn it on until I found the answer in your forum! Thanks for the help! :)

I woke up yesterday and its showing the samsung start-up logo. I waited but its still stuck. There is a vibration while the samsung text is stuck in my screen. Whenever I turn it off and on again, it still stuck on the samsung text with vibrations. I tried reboot/wipe cache partition using power key and volume +. But it won't do anything.
All my files are saved in my tab.
PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!

I tried all the options above,
the one thing I don't understand is; when I plug it into my pc and hold the power + volume up it asks for a CD. Nobody ever got this "CD" and when I try to search in my pc files it can't find the needed, APX file.

Anyone the same problem?
Or the solution?

This solution worked. Thanks for your help.

Amy,
What you need to do is press and hold the power button whilst at the same time touching the screen (you may have to wait up to 30 seconds as it clears the system).
You will then notice the battery indicator pops up.
The Tablet will then reboot .
Everything goes back to normal.

If that fails to work ~ Connect the power cable and repeat the above steps.

Da Beards (from Chicago)..

Worked great, EXCEPT I needed to push the power button one extra time to get it to reboot, as the battery was flat.

Hello dear Beards,

I was desperate when my Samsung 7" + tablet, for the first time, refused to turn on this evening. It was dead, no charging nor connecting to my PC worked. And then I found your instruction and like a brilliant magic, my tablet is working again, exactly as you wrote above. Out of a sheer delight I just had to register to this forum in order to convey my sincere gratitude. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You saved me and Samsung as I almost was going to crucify Samsung company with nasty comments.

A happy mama from Vienna, Austria :-)

No problem katkry410, my pleasure and yes, I am a Brit. We Brits do have a habbit of using English in it's correct term. :D

I'm a computer technician but have never until now needed to troubleshoot a tablet or Android system. My son's tablet was dead & thank God I know how to quickly find repair answers! Worked like a charm... my deepest gratitude!
Cheers
