Root Games causing reboot?

I'm currently on the latest version of CM9 and whenever I try to play Where's My Water or Agent Dash, my phone reboots while on the "loading" screen. The same thing happened on MIUI. I'm currently oc'd to 1.2 and uc'd at 61. Any ideas?

What happens on stock? Also what happens if you turn off your clock and leave the CPU settings normal?

My phone used to reboot randomly when using 61 as the lowest clock. Took me a while to figure it out but no more reboots since using 122. Probably won't help with the games reboots but it might help with random reboots you might get.

I too was keeping it at 61 to save battery but I'm better off using 122 and not have to deal with random reboots.

I was beginning to think I was the only one! I had been using MIUI 1.1.25 for the longest, then decided to upgrade to MIUI 2.4.20. Where's my Water - Mystery Duck would restart the phone every time. THE ONLY game I was addicted to. Figures!

I went to check out mtdev CM9. Great ROM, but the same thing happened - reboots on Mystery Duck. I went back to my backup of MIUI 1.1.25 and everything works fine.

I went to check out mtdev CM7. Bingo! No restarts. EXCEPT now it does. Just when I have it themed and everything the way I like! When the game is on the black loading screen, the phone restarts, but then it plays fine after the first restart. COGS is good too (MIUI 2.4.20 and cm9 would give me graphics issues.)

I'm thinking something in the Ice Cream sandwich build isn't playing nice. I have no idea, but that is the only link I could come up with. The Gingerbreads work good, the ICS does not.

OH EDIT! No tinkering was done with clocking or voltage settings.

i have the same problem with where's my water on the mtdev cm7.2 builds. maybe a game issue? i an overclocked but everything else works fine.

Yeah, Agent Dash worked fine after the first reboot. Never had an issue with other games like Cut the Rope or even racing games on CM9 or MIUI. I'm thinking it might be the game itself too.

Where's My Water is also crashing and rebooting my phone, using MTDEV-CM7. I'm pretty sure it's the game's fault, as it just started when the game was last updated recently by Disney.

the only way i was able to play where's my water was by using 1024-245 on demand iso but it was still giving random reboots. i blame the game.

My daughter is playing Where's my Perry right now. MTDEV-CM7

Where's My Perry works just fine on my phone too. Strange because I thought that since it's around 48mb (same as Where's My Water) it wouldn't load, but it does. Has to be the game itself.

Weird
I thougt they were like themes of the same game engine.
