Root GAOSP Froyo Nightly Builds

I had issues trying to install it. The package downloaded fine. That was when I was using an older gapps collection. After reinstalling and using the latest gapps from drakaz, it installed fine.

Not sure if that is the thing that did it for me.

from which link you downloaded the new gapps?

Now that I think about it,why are there three Gapps out there ? What's the difference?

There are two versions of gapps doing the rounds

One Hosted by drakaz which is about 16-17 mb
and, the one hosted by inFECT which is about 8mb.

I have tried both versions and found the 18mb version to load the 3d gallery much faster.

Dont know yet the difference for the size differentials between them.

Well there is a third. I have it. Its 9.26mb and I got it from Drakaz and it came out before the 17mb one. No matter. It doesn't solve the market issue for me :-(

Try installing the 17mb one.
It worked for me on a clean upgrade.

Wipe,apply nightly,let it boot,restart in recovery,apply 17mb version.
This should work for markets too.

Also pegasus21 confirms it worked for him.

The problem with the market is an issue with i7500L users. I will give the 17mb one a go, but something has happened to Gapps that has seriously screwed with Bell users. Oddly, the Brazilians don't seem to have an issue.

One question.
I see there r gapps already integrated inside this last nightly, do i need to download and apply via recovery standalone gapps module?
And which version? I just downloaded mdpi-20100926, is that the correct/best one?

With some new goodies. Like Gmail 2.3, Facebook, Twitter, File Manager,...

Anyways, with new nightly the phone looks and feels refreshed (still around 40 MB of free memory). Nice. :p

Can't wait to test it more.

I've encountered this problem when i tried to apply latest Nightly:
E:corrupt file:
dev_data/app_s/quicksearchbox.apk
E:verification failed
sync data...
installation failed.

Did anyone had same problem as me, or does anyone know how to fix this?
tnx in advance
