Root gb root

"About phone" is showing .596 and it came from motorola? There isn't a root method for .596 without the following method.

You would need to SBF to 2.340 and then z4root then d2 bootstrap then do the 2 part zip file update.

You will have to SBF back to froyo then install the prerooted GB if you want root right now.

You will be waiting a while (if it ever does come).

Being able to root .596 out of the box without installing TBH's patches is pointless in my opinion without a full sbf for .596.

As it stands, if you somehow mess up your phone, you will have to sbf with 2.3.340 sbf and then find your way back to GB.

Maybe for those who updated to GB through OTA and aren't rooted may benefit, but other than that.......even then they could simply apply the 2.3.340 full sbf and get to GB that way.
