Root GB System Version?

Ok so after 2 days I think I might finally have it. Well I didn't put the deodexed version on my phone yet. But I'm pretty sure I have it rooted but can anyone verify that I am running GB and that's the last thing I have to do. Personally I want to put ApeX on it and put a theme then I'm happy as can be. If this is up to date do I have to go through and load the deodexed 596 version to my phone through Droid2 Bootstrapper or will ApeX deodex it for me?

Yeah you'll have to wait on Apex, but if you want to go ahead and deodex and flash some themes bouch has a deodexer zip in his BWC thread..

You can apply Bouchigo's deodexer file.

I just started downloading the one from here: Official DX Gingerbread 2.3.3 (4.5.596) Release Thread - Something for everyone

This would work correct? Then I could go to the Theme list and see which ones work for GB or would I have to put a different ROM on then a theme?

Yes either should work.

Once your deodexed you then can apply themes made for GB without having a ROM.

Thanks a lot guys. I was about ready to pull my hair out this morning trying to get it SBF'd back to Froyo after RSDLite wouldn't work for the 80th time and had to use Ubuntu. After I settled down and had some coffee things went a lot better haha. Thanks for the help.

Sometimes, but not always, you will have to apply a deodexer file anyway because these releases are prerooted and predeodexed.
