GB27 on the way

Well it appears that GB27 is coming to a website near you. As of now, just the modem is out. I really with they would push something OTA. I don't believe we will get source until they do.

thanks for the heads up! for a .md5 version check the second page about half way down. i still prefer flashing using odin on the PC but i realize most people have gotten away from that lol

TeachMe: Is that the test before you tried the GB27? I can tell you live in a better area than I do. My 36 runs about 1780 to 1900kbps.

Understood. It has been 5 days though when normally XDA shows links within hours.

I just wish something would go OTA. I don't think we will see the source until that happens, and the repack/recovery will need that to fix the issues they still have.

Codegerm or anyone else, have you tried this rom and if so how well do you like it. I can't get passed this touched rom, I plan on keeping it for a while until something better comes along . Love it

I'm pretty sure only the modem is out right now, not the entire ROM..I'm dieing to update my phone from GB08 to GB27 when it does drop tho..

Been running it for a few hours. I really haven't noticed any difference between GB08 and GB27. Everything seems very stable.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but it's depends on the ROM. The ROMs will tell you which modem will work on their ROMs. ie: CM10 Wild for the night requires ICS modem.

The TW JB ROMs must use the modems meant for them, all AOSP ROMs use the ICS modems.
