Hey guys, looking for some help for a co-worker. She's got an LG Vortex, but that forum has been zero help. Anyways, you guys are the best and this is a pretty generic android question, so I thought somebody here might be able to help me.
The problem: She's had this phone for about a year and is unrooted. Lately, the apps that have been moved to her sd card won't update. If you move them back to the phone, they update fine and can then be moved back to the card without any problem. I took the sd card out, but didn't note the brand or speed, just checked for obvious damage. It is a 2gb card, so I'm guessing it's kinda old or came with the phone. There was plenty of space left, she had used about half if I remember correctly. My best guess was that it was a bad or going bad sd card that was having some type of problem. I looked on the marketplace for a sd card tester but the closest thing was a speed tester, which showed normal read/write speeds. I told her to get a new one and transfer everything over and to try that, but haven't heard back yet.
Does anybody have any experience with anything like this? Other ideas what could be wrong? I'd appreciate any ideas or recommendations on this.
Oh, and this is a micro sd, same that our phone uses.
