Using RemoteIME from MyGica you control all the functions of your ATV1000 without any problem. Fully recomended if used with video playing and more. ;D
Your device is not an a10 allwinner. you can't use the uinput posted in this forum.
But your board is M1 media box Board the same of many Geniatech products.

If i remeber well Geniatech made many update for this type of devices, and from request of same users there is a firmware with uinput inside.
Try to googling around this device.
Try to search a Geniatech rom compatible also with your device.
If you want the source code of the kernel i think this board have an amlogic cpu. in the previous post i liked a link for the source.
if i have other informations or the module just compiled i share it with all.
look this:

dgcruzing Good to hear you like it, is great, been using my cellphone more than original remote. ;D
This is the link to the easy ad hoc work setup..
Take a look at Connectify: Your Hotspot, Your Way - Connectify
Still hunting yours guys uinput.ko..
WWX are are you using droidmote on your box..?
If so could you upload your uinput.ko to drop box or somewhere in can pull it down.
Have a look in folders.... system/vendor/modules or /vendor/modules...
I pulled the modded roms down and looked inside but couldn't find one..
How many of you using droidmote.?
Phonejoy users:
Two weeks ago, an app specifically for pairing Phonejoy bluetooth controllers was released. The app has a more user-friendly interface, and is much better than Bluez IME.
You can download the app here: http://www.phonejoy.us/new-phonejoy-android-app-beta-release-v1-0-3-23/
I'm using this app these days and now I can play perfectly fine with two Phonejoy controllers. Now it's very easy to pair controllers and use them.
I can't get Internet TV working in some overseas channels especially scrambled ones it scrambles the whole screen on my device, exiting the software doesn't help although it does exit but screen stays scrambled I had to reset the device to get the screen back to normal.
Is there a way to stop the screen from scrambling from scrambled tv programs?
Most of TV Channels I don't get sound or software freezes up or crashes on my device.
Tried the web sites ones but a few of them ask me to install the player to make it play but I don't think the player will work on this device.
I was looking for a device to watch internet TV on my big TV not on my computer.
Sal
I think you need to provide a bit more details..like..
Box number.
Country using it in.
Software version.
Your internet speeds..
Can you can watch streaming tv on other android devices you have like a phone or pad..
Like i have said with mine..I am in China so I have to use a lot of programs through vpn..but i still get good streams as i have a good internet connection and router setup..
I will post some test programs that you can use..and see if you can work backwards to see why you can't get anything..
If its a software problem...then maybe a reset or a cache clean might solve it..
or if you have the knowledge you could replace the flash file..
I did see an update on Geniatech website these past days..

Hi
M1 Media Box (v1000)
Android 2.3.4 (Original) updated to 4.0.3 (20120730_M1_4.0_mod)
I'm from Australia using cable internet speed about 18.00 Mbps
My mobile picks up a few stations but not all some requires that you update the flash player but I don't see any update for my mobile, some don't have sound.
S9,
Sounds like a flash problem..
I won't be home for a few hours so can't give you too much to work with at the moment..
Does YouTube work?
Actually, as i am Australian living and working in China that's why i grabbed one as i am always looking for more tv..
Look for SBS world news app on market and test...as it works me me with out vpn up here..
Also RT NEWS..its a English Russian news app..but should work..
Others are Vimeo,
PPTV..its Chinese but hit any of the programs that come up and they should play..as its a flash based player..
As as thought you may have to update your video codec..I generally use mxplayer with there codec...
See how you go..
YouTube crashes even re-installing it.
I'm not really interest in the News more interested in the shows around the world.
Vimeo works but need to pay to use it.
My Mobile seems to be faster than my M1 Media Box in data transfer, I get audio I get video but M1 Media box lacks in audio in some channels video is slow or freezes up I can't understand it should be faster than my mobile its running on cable.
Does MXPlayer have internet TV? I though it just a player to play movies, I don't have problems playing movies.

The main reason I was getting you to look at the news was to test the throughput of your internet connection..
You say you got cable...but what have you got it plugged into? i,.e I am guessing you are using a wireless router..
As I suspect you are not running the Ethernet connection..if so..therefore you need to look back to the wireless router..
I am running with a Asus RT-N56U..reason being I can setup samba USB drives and go in to settings and have allocation for streaming TV..
I am thinking you need to run speed tests.. check the speeds on wireless you are getting with your phone and that of your box..
Compare them using speed test app.
You might have a faulty wireless chip,..can happen..
Also as a note...my supplier told me not to upgrade YouTube.. and I haven't had time to play with it yet...
As I actually want too...so I suggest going back to the version you had..rip that out of them firmware available in this thread..and install..
Note.. I have a shitty internet connection.. I am on the 42 floor of a 46 floor building..so its only asdl+.. I am am suppose to be on the 2gb plan..
So even on my laptop late at night I am lucky to get 500-600kb download speeds..
So with saying this..at 7-12pm...peak times..(gamers,p2p TV..) I am able to use vpn and stream radio or TV feeds from the US,UK,Aus..
In saying that...if you can't run SBS app streaming from with in aus...then you have to have a look at either you connection or your hardware..
As it runs sweet to me here in china.
Also...you might have gathered from reading...lots of apps are localized..ie..if you IP is not with in its broadcast range..you won't get it..
Thus vpn is your friend...try droidvpn as a starter to see if its something you need..but as said..you need to sort out your streaming first.
Yes I am using wireless router for sharing other wireless device, I've just remember I have "Powerline AV Network Adapter" connected to the Android Box thats were the problem is so slow, bought it because my wireless signal is weak in that room, we got a big house & almost half of the house is made of concrete, basically I need to get a longer distance wireless router or something, I am using "Asus RT-N16" wireless router with third party firmware "DD-WRT v24-sp2 (08/07/10) std-usb-ftp"
Mobile speed (wireless) = 17.15 Mbps
Mobile Speed (vodaphone) = 3.42 Mbps (not constant sometimes drops)
