thats the real solution to the battery life problem for this phone. the 1540 mah battery that came with this model simply wont cut it, i dont care what energy saving methods you use. sure you can stretch it for 15 hours if you keep it on standby for most of the time.

i looked at the droid razr maxx which is rated for 21.5 hours of talktime and that model has a 3300 mah battery. the galaxy note is rated for 10 hours of talktime with a 2500 mah battery.

the iphone 4s has a 1432 but is saved by the fact that it doesnt have 4g. its rated for 8 hours of talktime.

so it seems to me that metro couldnt get a battery that could actually run this phone for the cheap $350 pricetag. this phone hasnt been out a month yet so give the manufacturers time to come out with a battery that can actually last on a 4g phone.

lol at LG sticking us with this wimpy battery.

its a cheap fix anyways, metro had to skimp out on something to prevent giving us a heftier price ^_^

i say its a good compromise.

you can easily swap out batteries. you cant easily swap out processors or cameras, etc.

Somewhere i read there was a higher MhA rated battery of the same size. It looks like a standardized form factor BL-44JN

I believe these 1900 mAh might do the trick and keep the same battery size

Yes they do had mine for 2 days and has not nlwent over 102 with heavy use and while charging
