Root Get better signal by Updating your Preferred Roaming List (new prl 3019)

Yeah, im in the same boat... they are saying its now available in Dallas, Im two county south. Ive still got the "good" ole 1x. lame

Well, if Stockton (CA?) is the birth place, then they've moved on to bigger and better places. ( :) JK)They are in Richardson, TX now. That's where the corporate offices are now.
 
I called a 611 agent and omar told me they know nothing about 3g that I should just magically produce 400 bucks to buy the 4g. Lame. He also said roaming on a 3g network is not possible, I know metro agents know less than someone who knows nothing lol I just thought it would be funny to see what I got from one.
 
Lol This isnt fair. I live in Miami, Florida. How does Texas get 3G before Miami does????? (No offense to any people in Texas)
 
No 3020 in metro Detroit either. All I did was freak myself out for ten minutes running mobilespeedtest and couldn't get above 120 kbps on my 1x I'm back up to 400 + now thank God lol. Funny, a lady @ work has the optimus s and last night was complaining data was slow so I update her prl which on the s is just a click and it updates. I look forward to comparing her 3g over my 1x tonight. Not sure if anyone cares but ill post results anyway.
 
With one mobilespeedtest i was at 429kbps her optimus s was @ 692kbps both ran @ 100. I was certain id be closer as I am pretty happy with my 1x speeds. I also rooted and installed the updated sense rom on my buddies optimus m today and his data speed is horribly slow, before and after i updated his prl from 3018 to 3019.
 
IDK if anyone still posts here, but when i dial *228, i get "The feature code you've entered is invalid" Whats going on? Im using Bobz CM7 ROM...

I think when you use a custom rom the *228 doesn't work. You have to use QPST to change PRL's manually. That's what i had to do, I'm using Bobz rom also.
