Root Get GTalk Video Chat on Your EVO!

I know this is up on the "news" section, but thought I would post it here. It's a link (from XDA) to the GTalk app with video chat built in. It works like a charm between my EVO and a landline. Haven't tested it mobile to mobile yet.

So long Skype. I'll make sure not to look back for a second!

Put it on the root of your SD and install either via clockword mod recovery or rom manager.

Don't you need to be on a 2.3.3 ROM? Might be helpful info before people screw up gtalk on their phones.

I'm actually not certain on that. Either way, if you "screw up gtalk" all it takes reinstalling the original app, right?

EDIT: Seems you do need 2.3 to get this working. Just revert using a googleapps.zip if you messed anything else up.
