Root Getting a little toasty...

I posted this in the APex thread but this should be easier

I just have question: today i noticed my phone was getting a little hot. I keep it in my pocket, i have a thin plastic case on it, i am not overclocked, and i have many apps frozen that would run in the background. I have never noticed it getting this warm before i put aPeX on. It is almost to the point where i have to take it out of my pocket. ???? i charged it last night and have been using it today sparsely. still the same thing. Im worried it will overheat. I dont have an app to show real-time cpu temp at the moment (is there a widget built into APex?).

can you take a look at your battery history?...see if the phone is running constantly??

if you happen to be in an area of bad signal, like in a room surrounded like concrete like i am, your phone will constantly search for signal and really causes mine to get hot enough i have to take it out of my pocket.
i solve this by quicking on wifi whenever i'm in my lab (we have a public wifi net) and my battery lasts WAY longer and the phone doesn't get hot looking for service
