Getting Mine Tommorow :D

Theres already 2 firmware updates that are out and probably a few more so when you guys get it you wont be facing the problems as what the early birds get.

Can we bombard you with questions and request for gazillion pictures?

Lol I will try my best :D although pictures might have to wait for as ain't got a camera handy at the moment.

first question how long does it say you have to charge it for? not like 12 hours is it?

Well it had about half battery anyway but its close to full battery now and have had it on charge about 30-45 mins

so it doesnt recommend you charge for several hours anyway?

Question too when you get around to it:

MKV playback i wanted to know if it will play 720p MKV or x264 files downloaded straight from the net...

I know my omnia II i had to reencode my movies to a certain profile or it says media format not supported.

Also: can you check if the S reads microsd cards formated into NTFS instead of FAT32
Thanks

Just says to charge first before using.

Will Try to get round to checking these out.

First Impressions though is the phone is nice and solid and most of the reviews saying its plasticky are misleading its nicely put together.

The screen really is stunning and the speed is impressive.

Am still trying things out at the moment.

I will say more than likely it won't be able to read an ntfs card. Why would you want to use ntfs anyway? Exfat is a better proprietary fs for flash media over ntfs

Glad to hear you're liking the phone so far, mate.

I have only seen a dummy model, but it didn't look as cheap and plastic as some reviews made out. As a matter of fact, I thought the dummy looked a lot nicer than all of the pictures I have seen of the phone.

I'll have a few questions about the device soon, but I'll let you play around with it for a bit first! :D

because HD movies are about 4+gb and i didnt want to split it, but windows wont allow you to transfer a 4gb file onto Fat32 format.

Users from Singapore seem to have a few issues in regards to the vibrate notification and the phone lagging, are you experiencing any problem with your unit ?

Nice pics Smg! How are you finding the phone so far overall?
How is it in direct sunlight, or have you had no sun since you had it? :)
