I actually never messed with the animations. I thought maybe it would waste the battery with them turned on.

well 710 was what i was gonna go to have read thats a pretty safe freq...can i get the flash plugin now that i have 2.2 or is it still unavailable to me?
 
The AOSP Android 2.2 ROM comes with Flash Lite? Wow, I did not know that.

Yeah, I knew our handsets have no chance of running full Adobe Flash 10.1. Haha.

I actually had to update my ROM Manager app twice. It is version 2.5.1.4 now. :)

Hopefully I will have time to try flashing ClockworkMod recovery tonight because I want to make sure I can do it now. I think I like DonB's idea of using Amon RA recovery for stability though. ;)
 
That is correct I updated it on my way home from work and did it also this morning, lol, and actually I use both Recoveries as a safety measure, I am going to send the Dev an email and see if I can get him to update the 1.6.2 to the hero V 1.7 from Darchstar, that will make it even easier to flash between Roms without have you use TE or ABD

swype is in close beta now and I will try swift

I am using smart keyboard now only thing I don't like is the text I am typing doesn't change it just looks like gibberish till I select the word I want

By the time you have responded to a thread you could have create a recovery and done a Nandroid, LOL
