Getting new samsung S2 galaxy today

What kernel are you using? It sounds like you might be on one that when you press the home button 4 times quickly, changes the screen to negative mode....as I found out when I was in hospital with my newborn son.Lol

LOL that was it!

3.0.31- siyah s2 6.0b54
Kernel
Thanks alot atleast I know it is intended.!

Also besides the triangle I get, I see after a ying yang symbol. Is this removable aswell?

That is the kernel symbol....You can get rid of it by using a different kernel, but if you use any siyah kernel you will see that symbol on boot :-)

As I look into it I see:

Some second-generation Samsung Exynos devices are potentially susceptible to a "superbrick" caused by performing a factory reset with the stock kernel...

Since you rooted you are no longer using a stock kernel, so it's a non-issue for you.

It looks like the "get.cm" site is only for CM10.1, but I found stable CM9.1 here.

Ok thank you But it's 4.0... that would I will downgrade my andriod 4.1.2 ?

Yup.

You should do a nandroid backup first, anyway, but you can give the latest CM10.1 nightly a try. It might be that the features that aren't working quite right aren't important to you. If it doesn't work for you, just restore the nandroid backup and you be right back to where you are now.

I would never cancel your invitation, but I might put you at the table with Stinky ;)

I've got the SuperNexus rom on my i777 and it seems to do just fine. The GT-i9100 is supported too, so maybe that could be an option.

Not after last year's debacle. That poor waitress still can't look at a chippolata sausage without screaming.

Meanie, cruel, Slug!

It was all a big misunderstanding after I overheard that she'd been admiring your helmet... and then it kicked off!!! :girlhit:
