Getting ready for ICS ;)

We are happy to announce that we will be rolling out the demo version of ICS Android 4.0 through Q2 and Q3, starting with the Honor U8860. Please note that the ICS upgrade is a demo version and therefore may have limitations. The U8800Pro and Huawei Honor C8860E will also receive an ICS demo upgrade later this quarter. The Huawei Mercury M866, Huawei Honor U8860-51 and Huawei G300 will receive the ICS demo upgrade in Q3

It seems like for Huawei to specify the Mercury on their site, Cricket must have made a deal with them to develop the update. The only thing that is weird is the Mercury is the M886, not the M866.

It says it won't be out for the Mercury until Q3, so wouldn't it be a new build if it is made officially for the Merc?

(I'm assuming Nuttmeg copy/pasted that from the Huawei Device website)

they have the Cambodia Demo on their site which I dl'd n try to extract etc, but get no boot.img found. I also dl'd the kernel src.

But yea it should be a new build when they get around to the m886.

I just meant you the current build.prop its listed as a c8860 lol
