So I got Ginger Break and Superuser on my phone, whats next?
I've been reading all the guides/tutorials and am overwhelmed.
What do I need and in what order? I can backtrack through the guides that are already posted for more info once I know exactly what to look for.
Do I need?:
Busybox,Titanium Backup,Android SDK, etc.
A little lost here. If theres a guide that I've missed, please point me in the right direction. Thanks
....Steph

Got Busybox.
"Note: Make sure you enter the name of the recovery exactly as it appears on you sd card in place of "recovery.img"
Lost me there. Do I need to locate this first so I know what I am working with?

And I keep getting Syntak error with the terminal emulator.

You can rename the recovery to vrecovery.img

You might be getting the code wrong. One space left out or one thing misspelled and it's a no go.

The red underscores are where the spaces should go, don't type them in.
(return) means hit the return key, don't type this in.

I take it I need to unzip the flash_image before doing the terminal emulator? Do I open it on the computer before I put it on the sd card or open it once its on the card. I am using bluetooth file manager, should I be using a different one?
And just in case I fall asleep, thanks for helping me.

Wow! Absolutely. The flash_image and the recovery need to be unzipped
The ROM and Gapps ( google apps) need to be zipped

It doesn't matter when you unzip and Rename the recover. Just put the IHO Recovery on the sd card and rename it vrecovery.img
Yes, Androzip is the way to go.

I renamed the IHO Recovery, but I am having trouble with the flash_image file.
The Terminal Emulator is saying: sdcard/flash_image: No such file or directory
Please tell me exactly how to do this.
I put the file on the sd card. It says flash_image. If you long press it says create zip, create Gzip, open as, etc. Where do I go from here?....and thank you.

Try typing "ls" without the quotes. That will list everything in that directory, and you can see what the file name your phone thinks it is.

Try running Androzip, then navigating to where the file is. Once there, long press on the file and chose unzip. I might be wrong, I use ES File Explorer myself, but the basic idea should be the same.

superuser granted, # sign.
Should I be running another app while doing this?
I tried downloading busybox but it says Busybox Installer- There seems to be a problem with some of the utilities needed to install Busybox....
I am following the "guides" to root my phone however if it does not specify an action I am not doing it.
