Root Ginger Break,Superuser, now what?

You shouldn't need to run any other app at the same time, but you should run the busybox installer to get that up and running first.

You need to get Busybox installed before we can continue as it has the needed binaries for most su commands.

the file on the sd card says flash_image
it does not end in zip
I know I am missing something simple I just dont know what.

AH HA! The image is ready to be flashed! You should return to which ever guide you've been following, and start at the point where it describes this process.

Busybox 1.19.3
Busybox Installer- There seems to be a problem with some of the utilities needed to install Busybox....
says i can try to install busybox regardless but it will probably fail. in order to fix this you will probably need to reflash your ROM.
Hmmm...

So here's what I've done so far so you know where I am at.
I've downloaded:
Androzip
Busybox
Terminal Emulator
Titanium Backup-(for later use)

I have these on my sd card:
GingerBreak/Superuser
flash_image
IHOrecovery.img- changed to vrecovery.img
xioniarecovery.img

I have run the Terminal Emulator and after a couple of entries get:
sdcard/flash_image: No such file or directory

While installing Busybox I get:
Busybox Installer- There seems to be a problem with some of the utilities needed to install Busybox....

Where do I go from here?

At this point, you may need to flash your new recovery from a PC. Not sure though, Andy, Ben, or Jerry would probably be better able to answer that one.

(Huh! Ben and Jerry! I'm such a child! :))

Go to the market and update su. And download ES file explorer so we can check the permission on su.

Went to market and it said su was not installed however I did open it on my phone last night. Anyways, it's updated and when opened says no apps in list. I hope that is normal. ES file explorer is installed as well.

select install location .../system/xbin/
failed to copy over to system/bin
Do I go ahead and change the location from x/bin to bin ?
And should the Symlink applets box be checked?
