Thank you all for your useless posts. Those who actually come here for information can't get the last couple minutes back.

Btw, I am not here for information but for entertainment and sadly those posts didn't qualify as entertainment either. The sarcastic froyo posts were more far more creative.

I actually do have gingerbread but on a flashed rom not via update.

well poo poo on you! My bunny post was as informative (and as accurate) as anything else posted here in the last week.
 
So let me get this straight, a simple request for information about the rumored update has instead returned the makings of a plot for the next Twilight movie? ALthough if you could promise me the Monty Python Rabbit kills everyone in the end, I would go watch this one...

So I'm thinking Evan is going through some "intensive training" on how to support all of the questions from the update that we're all getting right now?
 
In all seriousness (not to derail the hilarity), I'm GLAD the update isn't out yet. The May leak was built on May 12th (going by build.prop). Verizon usually takes 6 weeks to test a build before releasing it. That means that, in order to release today, they would have had to release THAT build. Sorry, but it was bug riddled. I honestly think that we are still AT LEAST a month away from a final release. Ignore the "insider" trolls, enjoy the phone you have, and accept any update that comes. If you're a rooted, ROM-flashing whore, then enjoy all the ROMs we have out. We'll have more soon :)

Well said. I used to think of myself as a high class rom flashing whore but now I think i am more a 2 bit ( yes that small) ho
 
Hello this is Evan from Verizon NRB.

Unfortunately they have put a hold on launching the 2.3 update for a few days. They are rerunning experimental deployments for some reason. I will find out more today and report.

..and because she's dead ( the rabbit killed EVERYONE after all ), she is a zombie, and so begins the rabbit zombie second apocalypse. It will be in theaters December 21, 2012, and is directed by Nostradamus in association with Ragnarok Productions.
 
I am not a book reader at all. But I love reading everyone's comments from all over the world about this Gingerbread stuff. You guys and gals are the best!

You know what I think is funny? Evan will continually come up with "delays." However, eventually he has to be right. There will be people dumb enough to believe him on that one guess and think he was right all along.
 
Sun spots... definitely sun spots. Big storm on Sol, wiped out update. gamma ray particles mutated OTA transmission, first 1000 receivers reported they had actually received Andriod 1.3 due to the (-1) ion deceleration in combination with the plasma neutron embulation, which occurs once every 3,326,922.6 earth years; deployment delayed - just a freak accident I guess. I don't know about Evan, but I did talk to "Peggy" at the Arctic call center and he/she confirmed.

So I wanted to see if Evan was a troll or not and I called Verizon. The girl told me that THERE IS AN UPDATE! She couldnt tell me when or what version it was but she said it was on the updated list of updates for this month. Now I'm not an insider or a troll. Call me what you want I don't give a f*ck. But I believe Evan now.
