It could come with an updated HTC sense. Also, I just look forward to see what goodies the ROM cookers come up with. The more they have to work with the more progress.

PS I tried the SDK build and man is it slow. But that is to be expected.

new sense is to be expected, or at least i would hope so. Doesn't matter how long i have to wait for the ota if it comes with gingerbread and the new sense i will be in love. i dont want honeycomb though, i will just buy a tablet with that on it. don't want it on my phone.

Gingerbread Coming to Verizon Androids Soon?

Here you go guys, hopefully only a couple months into 2011 we will have it.

There's no list of phones that will be receiving Gingerbread (at least that I have seen), so does anyone know whether or not we will be getting the update sooner as opposed to later, if at all?

I know the Dinc was one of the first phone phones to get froyo when it was pushed out, so I'm hoping the same will be true for Gingerbread.

Ewww Sense. Lol umm it took them awhile to do 2.2, I'll say February at the earliest.

I'd be happy with just getting Sense 2.5 sooner rather than later. I'm using Launcher Pro which gives me landscape homescreens, but it's still irritating to have to use the dialer/phone function and have to unlock my phone sideways when it's in my dash mount horizontally.

Gingerbread doesn't melt in direct sunlight like Froyo does.

I think what everyone really wants is a phone/tablet combo in the 5" screen range. Who wants to carry around two devices to do the work of one. I think about the size of a brick (no pun intended). I am really looking forward to what comes out in first quarter 2011 with 4G capabilities. Love my DINC, but a bigger screen and keyboard would be a plus for my giant thumbs. Let's hope HTC surprises us all with something great.
