Help Gmail Account Issue - Heeelllppppp!!!!

Can anybody help? The gmail on my phone is creating a 'me' folder everytime I get an email. I have a 'me' folder in gmail which was synced when I set up the phone. Now there are literally hundreds of them in my folder list on the phone.

I was going to remove the account and reinstall it but the phone tells me that other programmes depend upon it and it would require a complete factory reset. After the hassle I getting all my contacts in there I dont want to do that. The stupid thing still will not find my old iphone on blue tooth,

Can anybody advise?

The only thing I can suggest is logging-in to Gmail from a computer and deleting the unwanted folders there. That should also remove them from the handset at the next sync. I've had no folders created by Gmail itself so I can't be of any more help, sorry.

Hiya. Tired it. Nothing. have reinstalled the software too and still the problem persists
