Root GMail probelms.

Right now, I'm having some major issues with my Gmail app on my Froyo equipped Droid Eris. It doesn't sync, it crashes, and and I can't access my email. I need help, as I often rely on being able to check my email on my phone.

Try using the K-9 mail app for the time being maybe until you can figure out a perm fix for the Gmail app.

Go to manage applications, delete cache and delete data then reboot phone. FYI, this will erase all settings, ringtones... but should solve any issue

Gmail is available on the market these days, try uninstalling and reinstalling.
