Help Gmail Push Notifications Slowing Down?

Has anyone else noticed that lately (or possibly after the 4.0.2 update) that the Gmail synching isn

I am not having this problem. My phone notification beeps before the inbox on my PC shows a new message. In fact, I often hear the beep from my phone in the other room and click on the inbox in my browser to update.
