Root Gmail root issue?

Can someone tell me how to fix a small issue? I rooted my incredible, sold it on eBay and now the buyer says they can't get my pic off of their email. (Little pic up in the top left hand corner.) Phone was factory reset and they are using their own sd card.
 
That is exceptionally strange with the factory reset. There is a setting in gmail under menu, more, settings, general preferences called "clear show pictures". Maybe that will help but the best route would be another reset with no exclusions. There are some things that can be preserved in a factory reset if chosen.
 
They said that they took it to a Verizon store and had it reset. I even took the pic off my gmail to see if that would help. I told them to put their pic on there, maybe it would over right mine but he said it didn't.
