Running Noob VII Rom.
I just recently noticed my gmail messages are not being sent. When I checked the OUTBOX folder there were 22 messages going back the last 2wks. Anyone have any ideas? I've tried to resend both over 3G and Wifi, but the msgs stay in the OUTBOX and won't go anywhere. I also tried to toggle the sync settings and reboot a few times (wipe cache, dalvik), fix permissions.
Hopefully, someone else is familiar with this.

I thought about uninstalling and reinstalling, but I was afraid I would lose all of the messages waiting to be sent. When I logon to gmail w/computer the messages are not in an OUTBOX, so I was thinking the App has them locally??
I didn't think it was an issue with the ROM, only a Gmail issue, otherwise I would have went to Mr. Bobo first. I was hoping someone else may have had this issue and knew a solution.
 
Try and re-send some of them, one at a time. Only a few at first, It is the app, I had a similar problem with Croy when he and his wife were in the hospital having the baby. I had to resend him an e-mail twice, before it finally went through. Same with mail.com, the phone app is pretty much a disaster.
Gmail app is also notorious for this. The reviews at the play store reflect the same views as mine.

I tried the one by one... Actually that's the only option you have for resending. I'm running the latest version (available). Funny this never happened before, so I'm wondering if a bug in the newer version? If I didn't ask a friend about receiving messages, I would have never known there was a problem.

I'll give this a shot. Worse case, I will also try uninstalling/reinstalling once I find a way to get a backup the messages or send them with the other email app by copying them one by one.
 
Well I finally got around to solving this! Like the previous post I tried a number of things already.

Since the problems with sending txt and mms was successful by always changing the kernel for me, I decided to flash the glitch non oc kernel. Then I went back to Gmail outbox and was able to send messages one by one now.... all 22 finally!!
