Hi folks
Just found a very nice email client, called inomail I've only looked at it briefly but so far seems very good and like the ui, its available the market so I suggest you take a look ;)

Sent from my Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 2

i actually really like the built in samsung email app believe it or not. the calendar is awesome with the spen and i can add multiple ms exchange accounts. pretty cool!

I feel the ui is a little outdated. Have you tried Maildroid it's very nice looking with great features.

I quite like the ui, I have used maildroid before but can anyone tell me the difference between the free and paid for version, it seems a lot of money!! I was using profimail but it needs updating so badly.

Pete

I was wondering that, its a lot of money!

I followed this app in it's development. Everyone kept asking when they would be able to get a paid version with no ads. The dev stuck it in fhe market with an outlandish price tag to shut them up. I guess people are buying it.

I use AquaMail. Excellent email app, but of course, not free.

I wish I could use the Samsung email app. I just wasn't happy with the fact that it didn't check mail every minute. And, yes, I can manually check it as often as I want but that isn't what I want.

Yeah aquamail looks quite nice but I'm going to stick with this one until profimail gets updated, whenever that will be........

I've used K9 for years, but find the app included with the N2 to be just as good so I'm going with the pre-installed app. The same goes for the calendar app. I'm dumping Jorte in favor of the standard app.

Anyone still using Touchdown? When I first tried Android a couple of years ago it seemed to be the undisputed leader for a full featured email client with good Exchange support? My Note 2 should arrive tomorrow, and I'll probably be looking for a good mail program and wondering of Touchdown should still be on that list?

I just wish that that particular widget, the calendar one, could be used cross-launcher. I'm using NovaLauncher at the moment (made a custom theme) and sadly it doesn't work with it. So back to Jorte for me. :(

I am using the default mail app with Exchange, and it seems to work fine for me. Emails are pushed to my phone within seconds. I don't do anything fancy with the emails though. Just read them, and maybe a quick short reply.

I'm looking to probably do somewhat more complicated things. Like flag messages for follow-up, add categories, use multiple calendars, etc...

Sure am, the Note 2 and Acer A500.

The stock calendar widget works with Holo HD launcher

The heavier the user, the greater the demands, Touchdown for Exchange and applications like Kaiten Mail do a better job. Last week I cruised with the built in mail client and realized again why I switched.
