Root Good Kernel for CM7

Another question. I didn't want to make another thread to find an answer, lol. I've experienced a lot of WIFI disconnects with CM7. I have it to not go to sleep at all so I don't know why it's doing that. My laptop and xbox stay connected and don't randomly DC but my phone does...

That's odd man. Tiamat 4.0.2 and 4.0.1 work well for me too. Any higher build than that and I get bad battery drain on wifi.

I just flashed the latest one. It's actually doing well on an initial flashing and it has a new governor called "Lagfree" which immediately relieved lag from my phone. I think it automatically boosts the voltage a by 25? I really have no clue but the lag went away and I didn't have to use the Vipermod even tho I flashed it.

Ha I am almost positive that if you check the 4.1 changelog you'll see that cayinarb changed the voltage tables to match 3.3.7.

Kernels are weird.

Loaded up savaged-zen 2.2.1 Bfs-havs-SBC, went 10hrs and didn't even drop below 90% battery. So far it seems good though am noticing some little things. Also boots super fast. With Tiamat I was not getting very good battery life with the latest nor 3.3.7.

BFS is weird. Some phone don't like it at all, others do. CFS is probably more stable. Have you tried that yet? It might not have the quirks that you have with BFS, whatever they are.
