Spend the extra ten bucks and pick one up retail. There have been horror stories of early build phones showing up on discounted sites....not that Amazon is a shitty site, but you just can't put your hands on it, so you can't be sure what they'll send you.
 
I paid almost 500 with tax for mine, so spend the extra 10 bucks and get it from sprint.
I cant wait for the next phone to come out so i can buy and sell and get my monies back -_- haha
 
Just got mine via Walmart via Letstalk. $164, and that was with 2 day shipping. Regular shipping was free, but I couldn't wait :D

It was regularly $179, then I googled "Letstalk.com coupons" and found a $25 off.
 
I got mine for $218 delivered next day through radioshack with no problems. BTW bought my last phone in Sprint store in person and it did nothing to help with issues.
 
Ordered an evo three days ago from wirefly at $179. I hope these are not refurbs. Also, the phone went through a supposed QA period where I wonder if they took a moment to check the unit for lifting glass. Somehow I doubt it.
 
I got mine from wirefly a few weeks ago for 179$ its ver. 003 all is good I have got a few phones from wirefly in the past and have never had problems with them. I'm not sure why some people are so negative about wirefly and a few other sites pretty sure they are just pissed cause they paid a bit more then 179$.

if it's a refurb, i think by law they have to tell you that.
so i wouldn't worry about that.

I bought my phone 3 weeks too soon.

Oh well, I just gained 3 levels of character and wisdom in doing so...so I guess it's worth it.
 
I'm considering ordering from Amazon at this price (says "usually ships within 9 - 10 business days" could this an indication that it's not old stock?), are there issues getting it through Amazon we should know about?

How much longer do you think it will remain $99.99 for new service plans, activation credit listed to expire tonight?
 
Heads up, it's back to $179 now, but Wirefly is currently doing a special, $149.99 with free activation. Not as good as the Amazon deal, but it is a discount.

Has any1 ever port out their SPCS # to a prepaid & port back in to replace their newly acquired Wirefly add-a-line?
This term scares most people I'd bet:
The new line of service activated with your order is used to replace a pre-existing account

I had no problems with my order and activation was easy. The only thing I'm waiting to see is if the activation credit goes through okay when my first bill arrives.

*Edit: Oops, just saw the price is back up to $149.99. Ordering from Amazon was not a problem for me though.
