Root Good Rom/Kernel combo for hdmi

I acquired a hdmi cable for my phone Problem is, I'm running the xplod aosp, and tiamat 3.3.7 kernel, and hdmi does not seem to be supported

1st question I guess is, is it the rom that dosent support hdmi, or the Kernel?

2nd is... are there any sbc kernels that do support the hdmi?

I'd like to stick with the xplod and an sbc kernel if possible... but at this point, the hdmi is more important. SO let me know what ya'll think

I believe tiamat supports HDMI or at least it did when I was running cm7 so I'm guessing its your rom

hmmm... so cm7 supports hdmi? Weird cuz the xplod rom has cm7 as base....

what he meant is that the tiamat kernel supports hdmi not cm7. the support for hdmi will come from the kernel which most now days have support for it.
