This time for real, just got outta the AT&T store ordered my LG G2 it'll be here Wednesday, goodbye ICS hello KitKat! It's been fun though I'll say, I've met lots of cool people here. Hopefully I'll see a few of you devs on the other side.
 
I'm gonna keep the spirit and give it to my daughter, so I'll probably still lurk around here. But let's be honest this device is pretty much dead in the water lol, if it wasn't I wouldn't have upgraded.
 
I am here to sign off the spirit crew and onto the nexus 5 crew. I've barley activated my n5 2 days ago but have had it since last Wednesday. I will still lurk around as I'm doing now it was a good run guys.
 
k, now that he is gone, I can really do something for this device now....

I still plan on working on this device tho. Just been busy with trying to learn java and drum up business for work. ;)
 
I've given up the LG Spirit as well.

I plan on passing the device on to (running Samurai ROM) to my niece. She currently uses a MetroPCS device that I jokingly call a "Two cans and a string texter."

Thanks to all the developers, coders and advisors that not only taught me how to root a device, but provided some awesome alternatives to LG's stock ICS rom for the Spirit.

May the community keep benefitting from your wisdom and work for years to come.

Saying goodbye also to my spirit and also to MetroPCS. I loved my spirit but it was crippled by Metro's poor signal. I still have it and I will keep it as a backup and will remember it as the 'first rooted LG Spirit in existence' lol. Thanks to GameTheory and others who helped when I had issues.

I am using Motion right now... I can squeeze few juice from Spirit :) and develop a ROM or two hehe
 
Bard if you would have asked 5weeks earlier I would have gave you one of mine but I've passed them along to family and moved to the nexus 5
