Root Google account gone

Just flashed from 01252012 to 01312012. Everything went well except that my Calendar says "you have no calendar". I also notice that Gallery only has images from the phone, none of the google on-line stuff. There seems to be no way to reconnect with my account via those apps.

(gmail is working though.)

I assume this means I have to reflash gapps. If so, can I just flash any recent version? Does it matter which BACKSIDE-IHO-01....zip I flashed?

Thanks for any pointers.

UPDATE: I went ahead and reflashed the gapps I had before the BACKSIDE update. Had to go through Google set up to readd my account data, but everything back to normal now.

go to settings>accounts and sync>tap your Google account and tell me what's checked

You can always force sync by going to settings, accounts and sync, then select your Google account, finally push the menu button and select sync from the pop up menu. This is standard so it will be there no matter the rom or if stock.

I think this poster forgot to flash gapps after flashing the ROM.
