Google Music

Anyone in the Google Music beta? I asked for an invite but who knows if/when it'll go through. In the meantime the app doubles as a locally-stored music player, so I figured I'd check it out.

It looks nice, but it seems so slow. Even on an overclocked Velocity ROM the whole app is sluggish. There don't seem to be any adjustable settings either ... how would it know I was a beta member? Other Google apps which use your account explicitly have to be given that permission (Google Voice comes to mind).

Not impressed so far.

There was a leaked version about two months ago. Which had a settings section with the cloud section. Although you couldn't use any of the options. Will likely be introduced in a later again in an update.

The app is sluggish, Even on my Inspire which is a high end phone.
