Help Google Nav / Droid X Question

With my regular Garmin, if I run into traffic I can click on "detour" and it will take me to the nearest exit that can get me to my destination. I haven't been able to figure out how to do this with Google Nav. Any ideas?

In navigation mode, click menu, route info, and click on the link that is second from the right, it will give you alternate directions.
