Help Google play store give error message

Each time I try to update or download an app it gives me a message saying that it could not download because it had an error receiving data from server. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I had this same issue, and it was resolved when I removed my Google account and re-adding it.

I tried that, and it didn't work. That's why I ended up removing and re-adding my Google account. :/

Oh wow, I've had the problems a time or 2 but didn't have to go to that extent.
