Help Google Play Store won't open

I had the app Mp3 search and download on my phone...and downloaded a song just fine. When I tried to download another i got the message "file error" and then 2 more times on other songs. I uninstalled the app and when I tried to reinstall the app the google play store would just close on me. I stopped by Verizon and spoke with them. The gentleman went in and cleared the cache in the play store. He showed me the phone... we opened the play store and it worked just fine opening. I got home and facebook needed to update...so i opened it in the google store and hit update. Instantly the google store closed and now I can't open the play store app. I know I should go back to verizon, but thought someone here may be able to help me first. Thanks
 
Every now and then it will do that and it seems to coincide with a new market showing itself. Let's see if there is a new one on the way soon.
