Google Plus (+)

If anyone can spare an invite I'd love to have one. edgar.moscoso@ gmail.com

Lifehacker posted a way to get someone in since the invite system is offline(not sure if this has been posted yet).

How Can I Get an Invitation to Google Plus?

Google introduced their highly anticipated social network, Google Plus, on Tuesday as an invite-only service. Not surprisingly, a lot of people are interested in trying it out.

The folks at Google allowed current members to invite friends for a short window last week, and we started a Google Plus Invite thread at Lifehacker to spread the love. Unfortunately, Google closed invites shortly thereafter.

So how do you get an invitation now?

For starters, you should visit the start page and sign up for an invite whenever Google gets around to sending one. But that's the obvious route, and it could take a while.

If you happen to know someone who's already got a Google Plus invite, you do have another option, which I tested and which worked for me. Keep in mind that Google could always change this, so you mileage may vary.

First, I created a new Circle called "Test", then I added a new friend to that circle

Anyone still wanting a G+ invite, drop me a PM. Put your email address as the subject line so I don't have to open every single one to get what I need. ;)

How do you accept the invite? Where does the invite go to? Will you receive a gmail email? I have been "invited" but have never received any verifications of this.

You have to go to plus.google.com once you have been invited.

If you want an invite reply here with your gmail address, if no one else catches you before I need look I'll shoot you an invite.

Has anybody used Google+ yet? If so, what are your opinions about it. I haven't used it yet but I'm keen to know what others think about it.

I have also downloaded and registered but it is telling me to wait for an invite...so I guess I am officially on the list "waiting for an invite." I will have to admit, it does sound interesting. I am not a social network fan, although my wife loves using her smart phone for facebook, but this Google + does intrigue me. Hopefully soon...

Worked (working) for me. I got the invite from a friend though. It's nice (desktop/web) and the app is pretty slick too.

Sometime when viewing your profile though, it will display your google account instead of your name. (IE: JSmith100 instead of John Smith) And I need to set it up so I don't get both emails and notifications... that's a bit redundant.
