Help Google Search Not Compatible with T989???

Google search is only searching the web and not the device. I was told to go to settings and then to "searchable items" so I could make sure apps is included but it's not there. But here's what I have

#1- The only thing the google search is allowing me to do is click on the app>Settings and all the options are:
Use web history
Clear On Device Search History
Use My Location
Terms of Service
Open Source Licenses

Was going to try reloading from googleplay. Here's what I got.

Yeah, that is called universal search and it was removed with the 4.0.4 update. From what I understand, an update also removed it from the Galaxy S3. I think its due to Apple's lawsuit.

I get the same message in the store.

Thanks! Looks like a great solution...Now if someone could find me a vibrate+ring app I'd be in business
