Root Google talk

OK guys, here's an issue for you to figure out. First off let me say, much thanks to Katracho for trying to help me but I wanted to post and see if anyone else my be able to help as well. Anyone who has flashed the ULTRA ROM, may have noticed that Google talk is not included. I have searched the play store and online and there is nothing related to google talk anywhere. I spoke with Katracho today to see if there was a solution to this. He sent me a link to a gtalk.apk file of his. I followed his instructions regarding the installation of this apk. Nothing has worked, I deleted it and redownloaded it several times with the same result. I can see the apk in the sdcard/system/apps folder, but it is not in the app drawer nor can I find it in a search. Katracho has made an effort to help me with this but as of now we have been unsuccessful. If anyone has found a solution to this problem or has any input, ease respond to this thread. Once again, hats off to Katracho for your help.

How to install
1 boot into cwm
2 install zip from the sdcard
3 choose zip from the sdcard
4 select gtalk.zip
5wait for the script to finish
6reboot
 
How about from stock you back it up using titanium backup and then resorting app. That's what I've been doing with roms that don't have it and it works
 
BAM!!!!! That was the ticket. It's there Ans it works. Thanks so much for your time and effort Katracho. Mad props to ya man. Tomorrow I'm gonna tackle the boot animation. Thanks so much dude.
