I had my voice account for about a month before I got any invites and then I got 3. (Sorry, they are long gone.) They show up at the bottom of the left hand pane. One day they will just be there.

^^ That would be a bad idea. It's still in beta and after a Wave gets over 100, it gets slow as all hell. Just save it for friends, where it'll take a while to get to 100.

I too have a few Wave invites left. PM me if you want them.
