Google Wallet

I do have the Sprint Note 2 and it says that its not supported on my device. If you check out the Play Store there are a ton of 1 star reviews from Note 2 users.

I don't know why Google isn't supporting yet or why Samsung isn't asking them to. Disappointing that this feature packed/flagship phone isn't supported by Wallet. Shame on Google. Do they want Wallet to succeed or not?

The sense I've gotten is that the Note II just isn't compatible with Wallet on Google's side yet. Sprint's version being left out in the cold supports that.

That's not to say that Verizon, AT&Fee, and TMo wouldn't then block access to it, but we'd at least have a bit more hope. I'm not looking to go through the level of hackery necessary to get it only partially working at best, and for various reasons, I'd rather go with ISIS, anyway.

I know... that doesn't apply to you on Sprint. It would be nice if Google would get Wallet working for the Sprint Note II.

It works as it should with the latest ma7 update from Sprint, you may be able to side load it without rooting at all, although I'm rooted, with the ma7 update there wasn't any build prop editing or superuser access to change anything. Prior to the latest update, there was some workaround to get working properly.

It does say device not supported but I can confirm it works properly:)

Have Wallet working perfectly on my AT&T Note II (rooted).

Rom: SkyNote 8
Android Version: 4.1.2

I noted a comment somewhere on line and loaded Google Wallet app after a Google of: [APP] Google Wallet 1.6-R96-v13
Apparently the recent update to 4.1.2 fixed the issue.
Up and running within 5 minutes (not rooted)
